RICHFIELD TWP.: The Kelly Miller Circus, now in its 74th year and one of only a few traveling shows still in operation, will present its all-new 2013 production on the grounds of Richfield Town Hall, 4410 W. Streetsboro Road, on Saturday. Ninety minute shows are scheduled at 2, 5 and 7:30 p.m.
Enjoy the opportunity for inexpensive, old-fashioned family fun at this “traditional” circus, sponsored by the Richfield Town Trust. Elephants, tigers, horses, clowns, jugglers, acrobats and trapeze artists as well as circus stars from all around the world will be featured. Attendees will even have the opportunity to ride Nina, one of the performing elephants.
Activities will begin at 7:30 a.m. as the elephants raise the Big Top, and the animals are unloaded for feeding. The circus is also sponsoring a coloring contest, with entry forms available at the Richfield Library, 3761 S. Grant St. Bring the completed entry to any of the three shows for the chance to win a circus novelty item.
Circus presale tickets are $6 for children (ages 2-11) and $10 for adults; day of the event cost is $7 for children and $15 for adults; and children under 2 are admitted free of charge.

Tickets are general admission and good for any of the three shows. There is no assigned seating, so arrive early to be assured of a seat. Free parking will be available at Richfield School, 4315 W. Streetsboro Road. Parking for the handicapped, elderly and groups with pre-registered vans will be in the parking lot behind town hall via the driveway on the west side of the fire station.
