BATH TWP.: The Revere Board of Education approved a number of donations to the district at its meeting last Tuesday.

Among the donations were four to the Patrick Alfieri Lives Scholarship Fund, including $50 from Michael and Marie Parker; $50 from Jennifer Vari; $300 from Margaret Alfieri; and $3,000 from Moira and Anthony Alfieri. Patrick Alfieri was 19 years old and a graduate of Revere High School, when he died in a car accident in March 2011. The scholarship fund was established by his family to honor Patrick's life and to benefit graduating Revere High School students for years to come.

In addition to the above donations, the Gay Straight Alliance donated $38 in books for the RHS library.

The board accepted the donations with gratitude, recognizing the generosity of its stakeholders in the Revere Schools community.
