BATH TWP: When the Revere Board of Education met on Tuesday for the annual organizational meeting, the second and third orders of business were the election of president and vice president for 2013.

The nominations and elections were a reprisal of last year, with Claudia Hower and George Seifert returned to their respective roles as president and vice president.

Following the swearing-in of the officers by Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer David Forrest, the board acted on a number of procedural issues typically addressed in this meeting, including the approval of by-laws, standing authorizations and the Tax Budget for fiscal year 2013-14.

In addition, committee assignments were determined with Diana Sabitsch appointed the Legislative Liaison and Seifert the Student Achievement Liaison. Tom Kelley and Dana Appel are on the Finance and Audit Committee; Sabitsch and Seifert on the Facilities and Grounds Committee; and Hower and Kelley handling the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center responsibilities.
