R Senior Scene program helps seniors understand social media technologies

BATH TWP.: Last year the Revere Local Schools District initiated R Senior Scene, a series of programs designed to invite local senior citizens into the schools for a morning of entertainment and light refreshments.

The next program scheduled in this year’s R Senior Scene is “Understanding Social Media Technologies” at 10 a.m. March 27 in the Revere High School auditorium. The program will address current trends in social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Skype and LinkedIn, as well as the use of popular mobile devices including smartphones, iPads and e-readers.
