BATH TWP. – Legendary Cleveland Newswoman Dorothy Fuldheim, portrayed by actress Carol Starre-Kmiecik, will attend the Bath Historical Society at its monthly general meeting at 7 p.m., on April 17 at the Bath Township Museum, 1241 N. Cleveland-Massillon Road.
Starre-Kmiecik, as Fuldheim, will tell her life story, especially the significant advances made by this unique woman.
If you lived or grew up in Northeast Ohio during much of the last century, you would remember Ms. Fuldheim as the “First Lady of Television News.” A journalist for the Cleveland Press and a news anchor and commentator for WEWS-TV, Ms. Fuldheim was credited with being the first woman to anchor a television news broadcast and host her own TV show.
This free program is presented by the Bath Historical Society. For more details e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
