BATH TWP. - Crown Point Ecology Center is planning a musical fundraiser, "Musical Lessons from Earth's First Musicians," presented by Lisa Rainsong, composer, professional singer and certified naturalist.

Rainsong will present a program of her own photographs and field recordings of birds, insects and amphibians native to northern Ohio from 2-4:30 p.m. April 7 at Bath Church, 3980 W. Bath Road.

In addition to her photographs and recordings, Rainsong will interpret the recorded musical conversations and play a recording of one of her own compositions, inspired by the sights and sounds of nature.

This musical benefit will support the mission of Crown Point, which is to demonstrate the practical applications of ecology and to connect spirituality, social justice and environmental protection.

Ticket prices, which are 100 percent tax deductible, are $25 and $20 for Crown Point members, with a limited number of $5 student tickets available.

For tickets, call 330-666-8992, Ext. 112, or check the website at www.crownpt.org.
