Bath Township is offering its 5th annual rain barrel workshop at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 20 at the University of Akron Field Station in Bath Nature Preserve, 4160 Ira Road.
The workshop will feature taiclet’s rain barrels. Participants will make a 55-gallon rain barrel for $70, with an additional 2nd linking barrel for $30. Participants must be able to take barrels with them after the workshop.
Please bring a medium or small slotted screwdriver, pliers, channel locks or vise grips, scissors and a sheet or towel to protect the car seat or trunk.
Bath Park Board and Summit Soil and Water Conservation District sponsor the event. To be apart of the workshop, you must register online at www.bathtownship.org. The deadline is April 15.
