BATH TWP. – Beautifying Bath since 1957, the members of the Bath Gamma Garden Club have been sharing their interest and love of gardening since that time.
In addition to planting and beautifying a number of community gardens, the club presents an informative speaker presentation every spring at no charge to the community.
This year, Bath Gamma Garden Club will present “Autumn Brilliance,” featuring Cynthia Druckenbrod, director of horticulture at Cleveland Botanical Garden, at 7 p.m. April 17, in the trustees meeting room, lower level at 3864 W. Bath Road.
Druckenbrod will explore the “Seasons of the Garden” and discuss what to plant now to make your autumn landscape brighter and more interesting.
In addition to the speaker, the event will include numerous gardening-related and plant-related raffle prizes, proceeds of which support the club’s many community garden projects.
These presentations are always well attended, so arrive early for the best seats.
Bath Gamma Garden Club was the third of Bath’s four garden clubs to be founded and the only one remaining from that era. Bath Gamma was created for women who work with meetings and activities scheduled for evenings or weekends. New members are always welcome.
