Bath Board of Trustees adopt 2014 budget

BATH TWP.: During the Budget Hearing meeting Monday, the Bath Board of Trustees adopted the 2014 budget of $12,595,207.77 for the operations of the township during the next calendar year.

Township administrator Vito Sinopoli said the budget will maintain the same level of service throughout the township.

An overview of the budget breakdown includes $3.2 million for expenses budgeted through the Administration Department; just shy of $2 million for the Road Department; $3.1 million for the Police Department; just over $2 for the Fire Department; and $500,600 for the Parks Department.     

A copy of the proposed budget will now be filed with the Summit County Fiscal Officer by Saturday.
